The “Ask Me Anything” on YouTube was good and addressed a lot of Listia issues. Mostly because I sent in a bunch of questions about it in advance.

Someone sent me a private message with a question. I don’t mind that but I’d prefer if you post comments on my listings. That way everyone can read the answers.

The question was: should I convert my credits right away?
My advice is to convert any credits you have. Then as your listings end winning bidders can pay in credits OR ink. If you get any credits that way convert them too.

It doesn’t really matter if you convert your credits right away because Listia will hold the same price for credit conversions into the future.

But ink is simply more valuable than credits. Going forward prices will change on Listia based on the value of ink. So it will be better to have ink to spend.

You can convert your credits unless you BOUGHT those credits from Listia. You CAN spend those credits on Listia until they are gone. You cannot buy any more credits. All transactions will be in INK.

➜ INK available ONLY to spend on LIstia. This will include ink rewarded or gifted by LIstia, for example for"listing five listings today. "

➜ Sent some INK to MEW.
FEE is 1.1 XNK regardless of how much you send. So I suggest you send a tiny amount first (maybe like 10 INK), be sure your wallet gets it (might take a few hours today, things are NUTS on the blockchain). After that, send as much as you can at one time. You pay 1.1 INK if you send 10 INK or 10,000.

➜ ➜ ➜The first step is to add the XNK token to your MEW. THEN you can send INK/XNK to MEW.

The token address is available on the New Currency links ... I don't want to post it here because Listia might change it (like they do with web sites posted in comments). You gotta get the contract address for yourself.

➜ I also got set up on IDEX to exchange INK for ETH but I'm waiting. I was actually tempted to buy XNK on IDEX but I gotta slow my roll ...lots of presale buyers are dumping INK right now so the price is only at about 10 cents. I think it will go up. I'm waiting.
➜ I can cash out at any time by sending XNK (from MEW) to IDEX and trading it for ETH. Then send the ETH to my coinbase wallet. IDEX fees are MUCH higher however. Again, the more you send at one time the lower the fee you pay as a percentage.

I'm using ➜ bituniverse app on my phone and that's an easy way to see the $$$ value of INK ... on idex (computer only) it shows the ETH value of INK ... haven't figured out yet if I can change that to dollars ... a bit confusing but MUCH easier than I imagined!

If you are watching the value of XNK on an exchange be AWARE of whether that is in ETH or dollars. I think it will MOST COMMONLY be in ETH. That's why I like the bituniverse app, just for watching the value of XNK in dollars.

It's kind of pointless actually. The volume is very low. Almost no trades going on. IDEX is the only exchange and it keeps going down so really I think most ink investors are holding off for the moment. Which is wise. Ink was only born four days ago. Things will happen but maybe not for a few weeks.

Tonight I'm starting a tiered gift card listing. Took me HOURS to set it up. The 14-cent thing is almost impossible to deal with. I wish it was 10 cents. Which was listia's plan originally but that was out of their control.

But that listing will give people a chance to ask and comment about ink. It will last a week so I really HOPE we have interesting things going on by then!

Keep in mind that a lot of them didn't pay anywhere near 10 cents for ink. If they bought ETH a few months ago they paid maybe closer to 5 cents. So selling at 9 or 10 cents was not a loss for them. And each presale investor was limited to a max of 3 ETH. Most were limited to 1 ETH worth if ink. So no one holds a lot. Not enough to dump and really tank the price. Private investors are vested and can't sell any of it for at least a few more months.

So the ink we hold here on Listia is a lot more than any individual presale buyers. I still have great confidence that it could go up in the near future. Listia is a pain in the neck right now due to the credits and ink trying to mix like oil and water. That will go away in the next 18'days or so. Hard to see the sun through the storm but it's there.
