The listing, Vintage Eleven Strand Necklace has ended.

Dates back to the 1940's, has pat. pend. stamped on the back of the clasp, the clasp is absolutely stunning, reminds me of the Victorian error..Has eleven strands and is gold in color, 16 inches of very delicate strands of what kind of metal I don't know, there's some wear on it and it's a bit heavy...super collector's piece..Thanks for looking

I haven't even checked it to see if it does or not..Okay I've gotten a magnet and it doesn't stick to it, but it has some wear on it so I'm not sure if its a gold or not,does gold wear ?....Don't mean to sound stupid but I don't know that much about it...maybe I should take and get it appraised

No gold can wear but wear off no then it would be gold plated at least.Wear doesn't mean its not good, just means it's been loved ? I had a jewelry casket no one could see a mark on I finally not only found 1 mark but I found 2 after close inspection. So I found out something I paid $11 for is worth well over $200-300! Sometimes they put it in the weirdest spot to, like the closure anywhere on it, lol you might wanna have someone look at it and see whatcha got there :) But then again you might not want to since you already listed it here lol I know I'm not helping sorry
