Tips on How to Grow Blue Shrimp Plant
Soak the large seeds overnight and sow 3/4" deep outside after the last frost in your area or start indoors 4-6 weeks before the last frost, It will germinate in 7-21 days at 70F/21C. Watch out for damping off if you are starting them inside. Transplant to full sun and good soil for taller plants, partial shade for shorter, less floppy plants. It can be grown in pots. A half-hardy perennial that freely reseeds, in all but the warmest parts of North America it should be considered an annual. Full sun to light shade. Propagation Methods: Sow seed in spring after danger of frost has passed. Though subtly colored, Cerinthe major ‘Purpurascens’ draws comment wherever it inserts itself.

The zones are for perennials and how much cold they can withstand and come back the following year. What you planted in February are good unless it snows or freezes and it will kill them,

To find out your plant zone, you really need to look it up as Florida has over 5 zones.
