Description

The listing, Christmas Cactus has ended.

Up for auction is a branch from our Christmas catus. The limb has been started and has root. There are three shoots off the main limb, two of which are about 12 inches long. I will wrap the roots so they stay moist when shipping and the rest of the plant will also be well protected to avoid damage. I will state though if it does break apart at a leaf joint that joint can be planted and it too will root and grow. The plant get a beautiful red flower. The mother plant has bloomed every year for the last 13 years.

I don't know how I did it. She said I may have moved it around too much. I'm only keeping this one long enough to pass it off to her. I seem to have bad luck with cacti

not sure, the only real way I know of killing them is over watering. The mother plant here has gone easily a week in between waterings and then in October we would put it in a paper bag, give it a cup or so of water and leave it for three weeks. this would then start the blossom cycle. I know they also don't like direct sun. good luck.....:)
