A reliever from day one, Julio initially came up with the Angels in 1962, notching his first MLB strikeout against Roger Maris, then earned his first MLB win the next day against the same Yankees team. He pitched 6 seasons in MLB, including 3 with the Tigers. He passed away in January 2018, at age 84.
