Description

The listing, FOUR Pair NEW Rhinestone Stud Earrings * Blue* Emerald * Blue A * Clear has ended.

Winner gets all FOUR pair of these rhinestone stud earrings, with TWO pair of earring backs, all BRAND NEW and never worn! The colors are a dark emerald green, a bright clear blue green, light blue with an AB (aurora borealis reflective) finish, and clear crystals.

All very sparkly and beautiful, and they look like Swarovski crystals to me. These are vintage "new-old" crystal earring studs, about 6mm, perfect for multiple pierced ears. I bought some large lots of these on ebay years ago for making earrings, but never used them.

These would be great for resale on Listia if you don't like all the colors. Free US shipping too!

I generally list a few items each night ... watch my upcoming listings at http://www.listia.com/profile/auctions/28303!

Coming soon--GREAT findings for jewelry makers!

I needed some new findings so ordered plenty to share on Listia. In about two weeks I will be listing:
* Sterling (yes, sterling) earring hooks
* 5.5 mm daisy spacers
* 2.5mm and 4mm round silver plate beads
(these little silver rounds add a pop of brightness to just about any jewelry)
* S-curved silver tubes (I LOVE these, it's what got me started buying more findings--see necklaces I made with them at http://s247.photobucket.com/albums/gg146/natahoa/Jewelry/)
* C-curved silver twist and plain tubes
* 50mm silver headpins (not sure what gauge)

So, get some stuff listed so you'll have credits to bid on these GREAT items!

WARNING to bidders ... many bids placed in the last minute never register. At night, when lots of auctions are ending, Listia's servers get overwhelmed and slow down. If you want something PLEASE place your bid at LEAST two minutes before the auction end. Get your bid in before it's too late!

Hi why is it that with four sets of earrings you are only giving two sets of backs? i just wondered. i think they are pretty ,nice size stones, are they austrilian crystal? thanks you know me i have to ask all the questions. i found out on listia it is best to do that. i have received two rings that were the wrong size, three rings that had a different kind of stone in them than was listed, so that is why i check things out first. thanks nice talking to you! and one ring that had a piece broken off! spirit3/carol

I don't know for sure, but just from looking at them I suspect they are Austrian (Swarovski) crystals. They are about 6mm, and very nice. I believe these came out East Germany, after the wall fell they discovered warehouses of beads and jewelry findings and for a long time you could buy tons of old stuff like that on ebay. If they were made in East Germany, they were almost certainly Austrian crystal.

I bought a large lot of these studs years ago, so I sorted them into groups with a variety of colors for Listia. But they didn't come with earring backs. I have some earring backs, but not enough for all them! I figure most women have tons of earring backs anyway. Hope that helps!

Yup, I've gotten a lot of stuff on LIstia that wasn't quite what I thought too. If I don't like it, I usually just turn around and relist it!

No, bought these studs before those little plastic tube backs were in existence! You can buy those in JoAnne, though. I was just in there the other day and saw them. I don't like those anyway, too darned hard to put on and take off when the earring is in your ear (you are talking about those little tiny tubes you can slide onto the back of the earring post or wire, aren't you?)

I found some gold earring backs in my stash. I'll take some photos and get them listed. They are just the normal types of earring backs.
