The listing, Dell Inspiron 1501 Laptop has ended.
This is a Dell Inspiron 1501 laptop. I got this in 2007 as a Graduation gift. The only reason I got a new laptop was to get something a little more powerful for gaming.

I suggest looking at it before you ask any questions about the laptop's specifications. I will try my best to provide a detailed & honest description below:
The screen measures about 15.5 in.
Windows Vista Home Basic (32-bit) operating System
Mobile AMD Sempron processor 3500+
1.87 GB RAM ( I upgraded from the 512 Mb that it came with)
ATI Radeon Xpress Series
60Gb hard drive ( I know it's small, I used an external hard drive for pictures and stuff)
It comes with Wifi, of course.
CD/DVD Rewritable disc drive
4 USB ports (2 on side, 2 on back)
3 in 1 memory card reader (for SD cards...etc)
NO webcam & NO HDMI port
IMPORTANT! It does have a few issues. First, the touch pad is extremely sensitive and you will end up clicking on everything if you are not careful. I used to fix it by turning off "tap to click" or just using a mouse. Also, the battery does not hold a charge. I'm not sure if it is the battery itself or if it is because I do not own the correct power cable. The original cable broke so I am on my second one. This one is also on it's way out. As you can see from the pictures, I have electrical tape on it where the wires are becoming exposed. I would suggest investing in a new power cord, but the laptop does run, as is. You just have to keep it plugged in while in use.
It is a little slow, but not to bad for general internet usage. I was able to play somewhat intensive video games, such as TF2 & Sims 2 while experiencing minor lag.
