I am including this since another member recently did not give me the courtesy of explaining my views & others have been asking.

I certainly want my cards shared! I do not have a copyright on them. However, I take issue when others re-list them & do not mention that they originated from me. Also, they usually re-list at a far higher price than I do. That definitely feels as though I have been taken advantage of. For instance, before INK was introduced I sold 10 of my cards for about 40K, while other members selling similar cards were asking 140K!

I initially did these up for myself but was encouraged to list them for others. I do so more as a service / convenience for other members rather than to "turn a profit". Since this is my own, unique design if another member includes them in their listing as a bonus or otherwise I would ask that they give credit where credit is due. Members that honor this request will include my profile name in their descriptions to let other members know where they can get more, which they also do as a courtesy when they include items from other members. One in particular, Susan54961, even encourages other members to list their items on her listings! This is mutually beneficial with the bonus of creating an enormous amount of goodwill! You may want to ask her how she feels about this. She routinely promotes other members and is probably what I would consider an ideal Listian to emulate.

I hope that I have respectfully explained my stance. In no way do I want to be viewed as difficult or uncooperative. If someone else were to create a crocheted design, piece of art, handmade card or jewelry, etc. I feel that they should be recognized as the original creator if another member re-lists their item. I guess it all boils down to mutual respect, something that I feel isn't nearly as prevalent as back when the site first started but I'm hoping the tides will change again. :)
