Cactus is very easy to grow, just put the cut end into the ground or a pot of soil and it will grow its own roots. Once planted water once, then wait and water again in about 2 weeks depending upon your temperatures. Then water once a week for about 2 months. This gives the cactus time to grow roots without causing the cactus to rot from too much moisture.
