Questions & Comments
It did thank u. Now hopefully i dont over charge people or under charge. It was so much easier with the credits.
highly agreed, but it's what we got now. It took a little math and watching some other auctions and values, Listia also had an Equals USD under the xnk at one time to give you an idea, the value now is more on us the users instead of the "Federal" money value liars.lol
I do not have one for it right this minute but will get one in a couple of days or less. I just had time to picture what I had on hand at that moment.I will update and include a pic when I do, Thank you.
just a new form of payment we are using here. You can bid on xnk auctions with Listia credits at an exchange rate of 3800 per 1 xnk or something like that. It (unlike old Listia credits) is also used on many other sites as payment as well. This opens up your Listia "action" to be used in other places. Bothered me a first but nothing is permanent except change, so use and enjoy it where ever you spend it. I hope that answered some of your Q's.
but if you use credits there is a different exchange rate. Thank you for the USD value though, I do not like to use a cryptocurrency and basing it on another currency, it defeats the meaning of using it. My 2 cents worth.
lol, yeah me too. I hated math class,...it was right before lunch 4 outta 5 high school years. When I went it was 8th-12th grade for high schoolers. We are learnin' though.
Actually, the Listia blog entry dated 3-16-18 recommends that members use 0.09 for pricing items, https://blog.listia.com/ They give a pretty reasonable explanation as to why. The 0.14 was only ever intended for converting your credits into XNK but many members didn't understand that.
I now price my items according to the 0.09 rate, at least for the present, rather than the actual market value but I still keep tabs on it at: https://www.coingecko.com/en/price_charts/ink-protocol/usd. If I were interested in buying / selling my cryptocurrency I may price differently but for now I want to remain competitive with other marketplaces while still giving Listia a chance for everything to stabilize. Good Luck to you.
thank you 4 your input. Again I do not believe in allowing a currency that men (not in my best interest) tell me what mine is worth. I prefer to let the market do it as referring to another currency is the opposite of what cryptocurrency is all about. The people taking the power of currency for themselves as it should be. My 2 cents worth.
Just to inform... If you have xnk and listia credits if you bid it gin on sn xnk auction they(listia) will use your credits first even if you don't want them to at the new rate (1xnk=3800)because they are trying to rid of all credits and just be xnk
