What is the model of this lens. Will it fit a Canon Digital slr with an adaptor?

I know that it does not fit the Canon Rebel but was told by a photographer that an adapter was available You would have to check with your Canon dealer in your area to inquire about that. This lens was obtained at a garage sale and I didn't find out til I got it home that it wouldn't work on mine. I have contacted Tameron but have not gotten any helpful information from them...Maybe Canon can help you. Sorry I can't help more...good luck!

it says 70-300mm 1:4-5.6 1.5m(4.9ft) TELE-MACRO(1:3.8) kenko mc protector 58mm for pentax af I will have to set up my stamps.com scale today so I can weigh the package. Honestly I haven't done this before and I don't have a paypal acct..and really don'twant one if I don't have to. Do you know how others get paid for postage outside of paypal?

Paypal is the best, but if you really don't want to set one up. Money orders, because you don't have to wait for them to cash.

thanks for the info...paypal just seems like too much of a pain to pay them to collect when it is such small amts of money. This is an ideal lens for anyone who actually has an autofocus pentax body, now !!!.... tamron optics are o k and the 70-300 mm zoom feature is great for sports and some wildlife photography.... when yall consider that a 50mm lens is the normal lens on a 35mm camera.... the 300mm focal length is equivalent to a 6x telepscope or just think 6 times magnification compared to a standard 50mm lens on your camera.... but, when it comes to using adapters to put it onto a different brand camera.... it will be quite unusual if an adapter can allow "autofocus" on other than pentax autofocus camera bodies.... i'm an ol' shutterbug and.... i wish that i could use this lens on my autofocus minolta, but.... i already have a bunch of cameras to use for different kinds of shots.... yall might want to laugh at this.... recently, i won a sony mavica digital camera, that.... can actually use 3 1/2 inch diskettes and memory sticks !.... it works like new and..... i just started using it to shoot photos onto diskettes.... i can use those shots for my listings, here in my listia auctions..... if i want, i can label those didkettes for what i shot, or.... simply re-use the diskettes for new shots..... oh ! i also won a "usb portable diskette drive"..... it allows me to quickly load the shots from the diskettes into a laptop, or.... any computer.... hey, friends, yall have fun bidding for this pentax-mount zoom lens..... i know that it's a good one.... i ran a camera shop and sold lots of tamron lenses in my past days in photography.... Oooops !.... almost forgot.... i "fanned" you and "watching".... and.... i want to suggest to all watching this great tamron lens.... talk to someone in a camera shop..... tamron made "many" lens adapters to interchange lenses from one brand camera to another !.... anyone in a real camera store will have listings of adapters for tamron lenses.... sorry, i don't have my listings, anymore, but..... tamron really was good about adapters to use their lenses on different camera bodies.... good luck to all....
