Sorry, but I don't quite understand the description. Is this something like an A Male and a B Female? Where one end can plug into the other end? Need to know I start bidding and find its not what I want and/or can use. Hope you understand.

It extends an existing USB cable. It is 6ft. long. In the 4th picture, it shows what it does. So the answer to your question is yes. You would just plug in to your existing cord, and the other end, would plug into your port. Hope this helps you out. We needed one, and went and bought it, and then I ran across this one, that I had put up in the computer room, so I don't need this one. If I can answer anymore questions, please let me know.
