These are a edible wildflower. They are true calendula as seen is salves and medicine but they are also known as pot marigold. They are not the same thing as marigold flowers. These are edible both to humans and chickens the hens will actually create more vivid egg yolks if allowed to eat the flower petals.
The seeds produce orange and yellow daisyy like flowers. They are a very good producer and very prolifient. This is a true hierloom variety.
