This is an awesome piece of American history
It is in very good condition with very few stress rips at the seems.
has a couple corner folds but do not detract from anything.
The service station it was at is stamped right on the front of the map and it says

it has great graphics and is a very nice piece of how the elections work describing everything from the parties to the Electoral College to how the country voted in 1956
can you imagine having this great piece upon your wall in your office or home? WOW what a statement piece,this is no little map either it is of the regular wall size that you can still buy to this day at a gas station. I am guessing the size is a standard 2x3 I was just reading it and wow,it has things on it that I didnt see the first time around,It shows the first 13 original states, it has the Louisiana Purchase date, the Texas annexation date ,and a whole lot of other information, it has the capitals of every state, and even shows what each states population was in 1960 sure is a whole lot of knowledge in this map that any kid or even collector would love to get a hold of.good luck to all
