I am F&W have most of these wonderful tools, hit for winner, use a small penlight flashlight on your jewels when viewing them, you will see more inclusions, flashes of colors, notice color changes, an a host of othe4r amazing things. I have a lot of loose gems and so enjoy matching them to my gem books. Good luck!

I used to Buy Loose Gems . I have a Huge natural Tahitain Black Pearl and a 5 carat Blue Spinel that I bought years back that I am going to pass on to my son.These days, I am really into Rough Natural Gemstones . I really love druzy quartz and the quartz geodes (sp). Your son will maybe have a chance to have the spinel mounted in a beautiful ring for hjimself or someone very special. Same with the Tahitian Pearl, an extremely rare treasure.

Wow. I need this! (Well, okay...I really, really, REALLY WANT this!). My own lighted loupe is the best...but I just LOVE this groovy-cool kit. I set the Gin (as the same Gin)for a moonface necklace I was wanting real bad.I am a rockhound also=) A real Quartz junkie~! I used to buy faceted gems! But now i am into rough/Raw material.
