The listing, Hand Beaded Deer Skin Arm / Wrist Band has ended.

Hand beaded soft deer hide wrist band. Edge beaded then decorated with small navy and white glass beads, with an old millefiori focal bead center. All beads are glass, beaded part is 6" long and 2" wide. Has a braided deer skin thongs on sides for tying that are each 4 1/4" long so total length is just under 15", could tie on upper arm. I made this by hand this using no machine or pattern and make leather bags, Native American bead work and primitive knives for primitive hunters.

Very Neat! My brother is a HUGE HUNTER, & I do not like it, but always gets one each year here in Ohio, white tail for MEAT & MOUNTS THE HEAD, & THIS is even cooler to use the skin also, he thinks hes funny when he puts an ear or something on my CARS RADIO ANTENA, I refuse to touch it! But he sure thinks the world is coming to where we will be living off the land again, so I am very thankful that he can do these things & even tho I refuse to eat it now, I guess if it came down to it, I KNOW we would survive! This is just awesome to be able to use more of the animal so its not wasted. I only agree, bc he does eat he meat, & thats where all meat comes from I do realize, I just HATE THE THOUGHT of it! REALLY COOL, DO YOU MAKE THESE?

Yes I make these, but this is just a simple example of my work. I actually make possibles bags, custom knives with primitive sheaths and other mountain man type primitive stuff. All hand sewn and made from natural gathered things. I trade for stuff from hunters and my hubby and son both hunt. I too do not eat wild game as that was all we had to eat growing up, but like you, if I had to again I would. I am not a doomsdayer but do certainly feel that the folks who can "live off the land" will survive any disaster, even if it's short lived, IE hurricane or blizzard. I believe in an open mind and daring spirit. I also do reproduction pieces of Native American bead work, but had this piece lying around so I thought I would try it for a first auction. Wasn't sure if there would interest in it here. Thanks for your interest.
