no they are the BlueBonnets. They seem to always grow next to each other. Its so pretty when they are in bloom! The Indian Paintbrush (red flower) stick around for the summer months where the Bluebonnets dont seem to like it when it gets too hot.

In Oklahoma we have yellow and orange paintbrush, my daughter found some white ones not too long ago. fanned & watching

I would love to see them! I found one that had white with spots of orange might have been just a crazy flaw but I thought it was beautiful! Every now and then in the midst of all the red and orange you will see one like that! Its so pretty~ I love them so much thats why I wanted to share them with Listia~ hopes that others will spread them too~

where is that? They do here too but they are great when you plant them in your flower beds as I do. they spread like crazy huh~!!
