Found in a purchased unit is this Philips Magnavox RF modulator. Item is in excellent used condition and shows very little wear on the bottom. The information supplied below is what I found online about this item!
Use this to connect a new VCR/DVD to an older TV or get a few more channels on your antenna TV. Added bonus is that it turns itself on when it detects a signal.
Just plug it into the back or front of your TV, uses a audio in, out, you know the red/yellow/white cable cord, or you can just use the RF cord.
As everyone can see from my photo's the is a place on the backside of this item to connect the in antenna wire to this and then the out wire to your TV. I can and will supply the audio wires if the winner needs them nut only on request as there were no additional wires locate for this item. I did plug it in to see what it did and the red light on the front of this item flashed on and off as stated above from info I found online that this does turn on when it detects a signal. I checked both Amazon and Ebay and found that this item retails for up to $28.99 BN and as little as $8.99 - $15.99 used. But here on listia your are getting this item FREE w/FREE SHIPPING. Um, the modulator is not specifically for components like vcrs, right? Do you think I can hook up a Playstation 2 with it, or radio?

this is to add RCA conections to older TV's tht dont have RCA inputs ..

No not RCA this is a Philips Magnavox. Every thing in my description is accurate as per my search. I read this info on Philips website.

the Red / White and yellow conectors on the back are called RCA conectors ..RCA is the type ,,and it is to add video and audio to TV's tht dont have tht type of input ..

It will not give you more channels
