or you could just go to ubuntu.com and download this .iso 32 bit or 64 bit w.e you need you should have even bought it off ebay you got ripped off.... it's freeware
thks 4 the reply! alot of linux o/s's call 4 a large amount of rams and a large processor to download to your computer.i think i will check the site out again, and seen maybe they have a small linux o/s that i can download to my ibm thkpad a22m laptop.my ibm has 512mb and 900 or so processor.u would think that enough for the download of the linux, but i think the problem was my display graph.driver,i got that one from ibm len. driver support page for the a22m laptop.thks
yeah unfortunately you did get ripped off, trevor is right in it being freeware, thats the reason its so popular with network admins and etc for it's flexibility...thought it was weird seeing linux on here
thks 4 the reply! this is my sec.o/s of linux, that i have put up for auction.i've seen other linux o/s auctions, that where listed here on listia. maybe someone can use this,if they can figure out the problem with the display graph.but than again, the system may boot up normal on another desk computer or a laptop.thks
for an older cpu you should google lucid puppy linux... it is made for earlier computers and laptops with minimal ram and processor requirements, and it is free as well...good luck
