The listing, New! Ziploc Zip'N Steam Cooking Bags (medium-6 bags total ) has ended.
These 2 packages of Ziploc Zip'N Steam Cooking Bags are still sealed-each package contains 3 bags for total of 6! Great for fresh or frozen vegetables, seafood, poultry and more!
I used to use these all the time but have switched to the steamfresh veggies-they did tasted much better in these bags though than cooking in pot full of water without the bags. i never tried poultry and i always did in microwave with them although you can use them in pot of water. They are supposed to seal in the nutrients and flavor you lose by just boiling without the bags!
Hmm thats a very good question-to be honest I bet you could at least a few times each-although I have never tried. but since I couldnt give you an exact answer i googled it and the answer is yes!!! A few people mentioned to not use soap and didnt think it was good idea if using on poultry, fish or meats-but someone else said that would be fine and to just use small amt of soap and super hot water-then follow with cold water rinse. But looks like it will definately be fine for veggies!
LOL you sound like me although he has been slacking lately!!! I also have a regular food steamer that I just love-but a pain to wash! The bags make it much easier!!! Now I am kicking myself for not ever thinking of reusing-lol-i have gone thru bags and bags-lol!
Yes they are quite nice! Mine is a steam and mash-perfect for mash potatoes but it will steam anytjing! and everything turns out so very good! I really gotta get back in habit of using it! Other problem is with 6 kids it doent make enough so boxed potatos and steamfresh veggies for me!
