do these work?

I used to use these all the time but have switched to the steamfresh veggies-they did tasted much better in these bags though than cooking in pot full of water without the bags. i never tried poultry and i always did in microwave with them although you can use them in pot of water. They are supposed to seal in the nutrients and flavor you lose by just boiling without the bags!

Can you wash these out and reuse? Or are they disposable only?

Hmm thats a very good question-to be honest I bet you could at least a few times each-although I have never tried. but since I couldnt give you an exact answer i googled it and the answer is yes!!! A few people mentioned to not use soap and didnt think it was good idea if using on poultry, fish or meats-but someone else said that would be fine and to just use small amt of soap and super hot water-then follow with cold water rinse. But looks like it will definately be fine for veggies!
