Description

The listing, Retired flag star has ended.

Wasn't sure where to put this.

What it is, is a star that was cut out of a properly retired American flag. It's put in a little baggie with a message on the back. Our church would take these to returning soldiers as a way to thank them for all that they do.

The message:
'I am part of our American Flag. I have flown over a home in the U.S.A. I can no longer fly. The Sun and Winds have caused me to become tattered and torn. Please carry me as a reminder that you are not forgotten.'

Keep doing what you're doing Brother! I know the flag code, and this concerning it: the U.S. Supreme Court has ruled that punitive enforcement would conflict with the First Amendment right to freedom of speech. Kinda like when John the Baptist was accused of having a devil because he came to them in a camel hair "suit eating locusts and honey, but then when Jesus comes eating and drinking, they call Him a glutton and winebibber. As Jesus said: "Wisdom is justified of her children." The real violation came when they took the pledge of allegiance out of schools because they didn't like "one Nation under God"...... Peace~

Sorry I have hidden your comment, I have countless family members who have served and as part of my church we make these all the time, as good Christians we wouldn't do it if it were against the law. Our local VFW approves of what we're doing and so do the soldiers we give them to. If you don't like that I cut up the flag, please step away from my auction and don't bid.

I have been watching to see how you would reply to cocos_mama. She never said it was illegal. She simply stated that it was against the flag code. AND she said it very respectfully.
And yet you hid her comment and basically accuse HER of being a bad American/Christian?

This is my last one. I don't feel like dealing with immature people who many peo get butthurt over stupid auctions. Many people enjoy giving them out and laying them at cemetaries....but it's not worth people arguing with me over them.

....so bid bid bid.

And anyone who has anything to say about me hiding, will be blocked.
