they are not called gauges they are called Plugs, tunnels, eyelets and tapers just in case someone wants to put it in the search to find this kind of jewelry like i do :) it might help people see them better in the search :)

I know what they're called, duh, I mean I hope you saw the description. I've had my ears gauged for a good while, but guess what? I DECIDED to advertise them as "gauges", Why? because that's what most of the people know them by, specially people who are just beggining to gauge their ears. Good for you to know what they're actually called! but guess what.. not everyone knows :) oh and by the way, there's a taper, a plug and a tunnel.. pffftttt... I'm not gonna title the advertisement as "2g green taper, 2g green plug and 00g homemade tunnel" come on... that's too long for me.

and co-sign on abelle's comment! Gauge is a size... a measurement. Gauging is measuring the size of. Know the subculture if youre gonna pose as if youre part of it. just a suggestion. it could be the difference between a horrible infection or surgery and a simple blowout.

ok, so I'm stupid? get your facts right, ignorant person. I had those 2g plugs for quiet a while and I was at 0g and I didnt want to buy a pair of 00g just to later stretch to 7/16 .. so what did I do? I made it bigger with electrical tape, saved my self some money. Oh and guess what? My ears are not "freshly stretched" I've had gauges since I was 13. Never have I blown out my ears and deffinetely havent had any infections. So get your facts straight, stupid ignorant person, before you post a comment and also same as @abelle

No point in argueing with you. Just because youve been... LOL... "Gauging" your ears since you were 16 doesnt mean you know what youre doing, let alone know what youre talking about. I get on people like you because the younger generation seems to want to jump all over the new "Hipster" crap youre posing for. Bad lingo and misinformation. instead of spreading knowledge of truth for the very culture you got ALL WRONG... youre just feeding the babies more garbage. Bondage tape is used for proper stretching if youre gonna go that route. Electrical tape is TOXIC! And i say freshly stretched ears because anytime you go up in size, youre stretching, hence the FRESH STRETCH! You have to treat it as a new piercing for a few days at least. So take your time to understand what youre doing before you try and puff up your chest when someone as apparently ignorant as I am corrects YOUR ignorance before someone thinks youre knowledgeable enough to hand out any sort of influence!
