It is good at any Starbucks except the ones inside other stores such as Target and Borders.

I live in Calif and have to drive about 45 min just to get to a star bucks don't want to get there and have them not accept it.

45 minutes to get to a Starbucks?!?!?! I honestly have never heard of that. I can only assume you live out of a city? :-)
But I can not wanting to take the chance.
I have used them all over and never had a "free standing" starbucks take them. Once you purchase so much starbucks they give you these coupons. That is where I get them. It is just the independently owned that have the option.
