Can i ask you why you charge extra to add delivery confirmation saying you have to upgrade to a large sized envelope to put it on? who ever gave you that information is totally wrong. i ship daily and sometimes i have regular standard first class envelopes and i use the delivery confirmation on them. as long as the envelope has a piece of rigid cardboard inside it so that it is 3/4 of an inch thick you can use delivery confirmation. you can use delivery confirmation on any packaging except something thinner then 3/4 of an inch ion a standard first class envelope. i ship small 4x7 padded envelopes which are tiny and use d.c on them. delivery confirmation only cost 85 cents total on any package but if you use priority it is 10 cents cheaper also if you pay online through the usps.com website or through paypal online it is free with your shipping label.

I stated that for the simple reason, I don't want to give the impression that I do give tracking numbers on my shipping. I feel that is an option people choose to give/do, as for myself being on a fix monthly income i can't always provide what i can't afford, TY!

So it sounds to me as if the post office failed to tell you all you have to do with a regular envelope is to put padding inside it to make it thicker or non bendable. it just has to not fit through their little guage they have at the desk if it doesnt fit through the little slot on the board you can use d.c. and like i said i ship regular standard sized envelopes all the time with delivery confirmation. hope this helps as sometimes the post office doesnt give all the information. ask them this to verify it.
