As with any item I list here if you are not happy with it all you have to do is return it to me in one piece like when I ship it to you and I will refund credits upon receiving the item.

Any jeweler or pawn shop. You say I am interested in selling it they test it out and make you an offer. It's their job.

Magnet means nothing. Everyone else is right. Jewelers and especially pawn shops WILL NOT charge to test you item for purity. Sorry you think otherwise, but that's just how it is.

When I called them and asked they said they do charge to test if I am not interested in selling the item to them. Why be sorry, there is no reason to be sorry. Maybe they were just misinforming me to keep me from going to their store, I don't know. I don't patron pawnshops or jewelers.

Testing is free at the pawn shop or at the jewelers. You can also test it yourself by seeing if it sticks to a good magnet.

I did the magnet thing and it did not stick to it. I dont know where you live but, where I live the pawn shops and jewelers want to charge to test unless you are purchasing from them.

Don't worry about anyone else. Your auction states as is. They buy it or look somewhere else. I deal with lots of gold for a living and I see what it is. It's a nice piece for the credits your asking. Good look and do as you wish with your item. F&W. If its not gold they still got a nice item, possibly silver dipped in 14K. I want it. Just watching and waiting till the end. Take care and good look on everything, including your SSI, took me two years.

I dont know if it is solid or not. It has a stamp on it 14k but that is all I know. I found this chain and cleaned it up and posted it here. I dont wear jewelry due to my illness.

I have added some better pictures with better lighting of this chain. Bid on it as you would like. I am not an expert jeweler and with out having to pay someone to test it I can not guarantee anything but what you see.

No, it is just the lighting and the table I took the picture on. The light is yellow not white and the table is brown.

There is a huge difference between solid and plated... please bring it to a jeweler or pawn shop and have them test it. Your talking 1000 credits for plated and at least 30,000 solid. Doesn't make sense not to get it tested.. If it is real I personally will bid 30k..

Yes, I am aware that there is a big difference between solid and plated. I found this chain and cleaned it up and took pictures and posted it here. To take it to a pawnshop or jeweler to have it tested will cost me 10 dollars which I can not afford. I am on a fixed income that I get from my family and freinds to help me out while I fight for my Social Security that I have paid into all my life. It dont matter to me how many credits I do or dont get for this item since I found it anyways. I can tell you that there is a gold loop on it that is not pure gold. I put it on because it was missing a loop which is probably how the original owner lost it to begin with.
