Mother of pearl and fresh water pearls make this a beautiful pin! I don't know if the mother-of-pearl is real. I am assuming, knowing the person it came from, that the pearls are real but I have no proof of this. Gold accent. I do not know if this is real gold, gold plate or not real gold at all. I do not know. It does not have any markings and I do not have the box or any paperwork. It was a gift.
