Contents of the text translation on the postcard:

"SHIPS' ARTILLERY FIRE.

Great help for the landing in the battles for Seisin (Cheongjin) was the artillery of the ships of the Soviet fleet. From August 14 to 16, 1945, the destroyer "Voykov" (commander of the third rank, A.N. Abyzov, mine-guardian Argun (commander-captain of the third rank V.Y.Tulin), patrol ship "EK-9" (commander - captain-lieutenant V.V. Mikhailov) and other ships destroyed fire points and the enemy's living force with the fire of their guns.
Within three days of fighting, they destroyed up to 2 battalions of infantry, 8 bunkers, suppressed the fire of 2 anti-aircraft batteries, 13 artillery and mortar batteries and damaged the enemy's armored train. The patrol ship "EK-2" (commander- captain-lieutenant L.S. Mironov) and the minesweeper "T Shch-278" (commander - captain-lieutenant V.S. Peretyatko), approached close to the shore, fired a direct fire on the enemy from a distance of up to 600 meters. The effective fire of ship artillery in many ways predetermined the successful completion of the operation to seize the port of Seisin."
