Questions & Comments
Nice auction & absolutely scratch off the code..Sadly scammers say they received an empty envelope or invalid card & then use the card knowing it cannot be traced without the code..the balance of card can simply be checked at Walmart.com so winner can see it is all good..your fan & watching/ recommending & good luck :)
It happen to me and I was more surprise because the person had high seller rating. I ask for the pin so I can investigate the problem and the buyer stated the pin only had two. So I immediately send another card. Buyer sent me the bad one and I called the card 800 number and found out it was used the same city where the buyer was from. Got the name and was used online from the buyer. Lesson learn...
Hello everyone I’m SUPER NEW to Listia and I was just wondering how and the heck does this work smh. I’m so frustrated I fell like deleting the app but for some reason it seems to be something good about it. Just for the understanding for this particular auction the gift card is worth $25 correct? So if the highest bidder is 500 XIN that would put this auction at about $30 correct? Why would someone pay $30 for a gift card that is worth $25 furthermore the GIN is 2,500 I believe. That would make this a $25 Walmart card worth $150 EVERYONE PLEASE TELL ME WHAT AM I MISSING HERE? That’s a HELL of a Auction for the seller but super bad for the buyer.
Hello Californiaboxing, first welcome to listia and good question. Why would someone bid on $25.00 wal-mart gift card 500 xnk and why the heck is the GIN 2500 xnk? My answer is because people want the Wal-Mart gift card. It's really simple concept. If you want my gift card to be cheaper then don't bid on it and let someone have it for less. But why would you give it to someone for less because you want it right?
My GIN is crazy I know, lol. I wouldn't get it if I were you.
Anyway maybe I get to keep it because buyer may not pay.
SO TO SUM UP YOUR QUESTION WHAT THE HECK? Because I can and it's my action. :)
Good luck to Listia and I hope you stay with us. :-)
@jojo121779 AWESOME! I was curious how it worked and heck yeah if you can get triple the amount man I would do the same and I’m sure people kinda get mad cause they wish they could be getting what you get they would in a heartbeat lol. If you can get it hey why not? I’m going to try the same thing with my auction list it crazy if they want it like you said they’ll get it. I wasn’t sure how the shipping or anything worked and was curious if this was kinda like EBAY or what lol. Do you get cash for items or you just get those XNK and buy other stuff? Thank you for the heads up and advice.
For shipping I would advise using free shipping as exact shipping complicate things, you will see. Free shipping is going to cost you money but less hassle. Also I advise you read Listia policy on what you can’t and can post.
For anyone who may be curious: The exchange rate of 1 XNK at this date is currently $.06 that would make the current bid = $30 and the gin price = $150
Cool will do. Yeah I put something up just to try it out but I didn’t want to put free shipping because I wasn’t sure how much the shipping would cost and didn’t want someone end up buying the thing I’m selling and end up spending more in shipping lol
californiaboxing if you know the weight of the item you can check out USPS.cm to find out the shipping cost. also if you have a Paypal account you can ship thru them and it is less expensive than the post office
