Have you tested and seen butterflies use these? Dose it have a hinged top so it can open up?

Sorry I have not actually used one. Though that is why there is a slot opening instead of a circle because they are for butterflys. If they don't get bid on I am going to just put them up in my yard. There is no hing it is totally sealed.

Yes just 3 and I made them a long time ago when I was heavy into wood stuff. No real reason for making them except I probably saw the plans for it and just made them.
