The listing, IPOD TOUCH Used has ended.

Up for auction is a used IPOD TOUCH, 8 GB, the back has lots of little service scratches. The screen is perfect. I DO NOT have a charger for it, my children use the ones we have with thier iphones, sorry. So this is the UNIT ONLY. It is the older generation like the first or second round. I have erased it on ITunes so someone can load it with their music. Please ask questions! I am new to Lista but I am eager to learn and earn some Lista Sista's! lol. I tried to get a close up so you could read the 8GB but the photo is not great. Sorry. But you can see the little scratches, nothing a case or cover cant fix.

You know, I've dealt with Innissdavid before and he's a good guy... looking out for scammers. I've never seen him bully before and I really don't think that's what he started out doing. Maybe he went a little too far, but we all make mistakes.

There are two dynamics at work in this situation:

1) There are so many scammers listing iPhones, iPads and iPods that sometimes it's hard to tell the good folks from the idiots.

2) Listia is predicated on free shipping and so everyone is programmed to think that everything should have free shipping. Reality is that just isn't the case. If I can mail something for a first class stamp, sure I'll offer free shipping. But if it's going to cost me $5, $7, $10 or more to mail it, I want to know that I'm going to get a decent amount of credits before I offer free shipping. As a new user I can completely see why you'd want to put shipping on something like this, especially if you're coming from eBay.

The bottom line is that you'll get a LOT more credits with free shipping, but what you've asked for as a shipping cost isn't out of line. When I saw that comment and scrolled back up the page to see what you shipping fee was, I expected to see $15.00 or $20.00 or something.

Last thing... Listia is a whole lot more fun than eBay. Don't let one bad experience with one member ruin it for you.

The shipping is reasonable to me & I mail hundreds of things a month. If the seller buys insurance her cost will be almost $6.00 total. Add in another $1.00 for a bubble envelope & you are at $7.00 ... That's my take...

I do not understand the bullies out there that insist on picking on people and things, if its to high or they dont agree , I dont understand why they dont move along. There seems to be at lease one on every posting. Thank you again for taking the time to understand my estimates. I thought LISTA would be more fun than EBAY but so far I am not sure. If this reaches your free shipping amount, and I'm sure it will, you can ship in a flat rate padded envelope for 4.95. Envelopes are free at the post office. You can put it in any box that fits in the envelope, regardless of weight. I can cram men's size 12 shoes in one of these when I have to. Just trying to save you some money, know how expensive shipping can be.

You can have the best of both worlds. How many credits do you hope to get? If the shipping costs $8.00, it would be worth it to me to pay the shipping if I got a final bid price of 10,000 or more credits.

So what you can do is update the auction and say that you'll ship for FREE in the US if the final bid price is more than x Credits. You pick X...
