The listing, Hippie Tie Dye Hand Dyed Wool. 12 Ounces has ended.

This is 12.3 ounces of gorgeous bright custom hand dyed wool. It reminds me of a tie dyed t-shirt straight out of the 60's.
This was dyed by an acquaintance who ran out of steam before she finished her project and I don't have a project in mind for it. I'm sure you can create some groovin' yarn for a great pair of toe socks that will send someone to the moon!

Can you tell me what wool base this is, also is it superwash. Is the dyer a professional dyer or is it just something she does once in a while? Is the wool felted at all? Thanks :)

malawyer, this is white wool roving that was then dyed and dried flat. If I were keeping it I would rinse it in cold water to remove excess dye, dry it flat until it was nearly dry, then put it on a mesh bag and machine dry it on the "air only" setting to keep it from having the stiffness of flat dyed wool. It is not felted at all. Does that answer all of your questions? Best of luck to you.
