Not sure. I got it for an acoustic guitar. Doesn't say anything on it about electric.

no cant use nylon strings for an electric guitar the pickups only work with metal strings nylon is not conductive

jeremywyldechylde0879 is correct. However, you can use nylon strings on an electric guitar and have fun if you plan to play without using an amplifyer. I have used strings similar to these on an electric guitar and the sound volume was not strong. I still had fun.
