Description

The listing, IDE Hard Drive for laptop PC has ended.

40GB Western Digital IDE Hard Drive from a Laptop computer. This HD works, however has been wiped clean and will need a OS like XP or something installed on it when it goes in the pc. Nothing wrong with this, just upgraded my Hard drive to something bigger.
Due to being out of work and stuff, i am afraid i will not be able to offer free shipping on this item.

It all depends on what type of hard drive the lap top has.. If it has an IDE in it then yes it will work, if it has a SATA hard drive then no it work

$10 is too much shipping. Mailing this first class would cost like $5

Probably, except to put it in a box since it will not fit in a padded envelope will cost ten dollars. I have already checked with the post office here.

I've shipped 2.5" HDDs. They fit nicely inside the small flat rate boxes with room for padding. Those cost $6 to ship anywhere in the US.
Just letting you know.

I am just going by what the post office where I live told me. I would have offered free shipping on this item except that I do not have a job and I can barely afford to live on my savings. So I have to go by what the post office tells me they told me ten dollars, so that is what I have to charge for shipping.

I realize that, however i am just done...I don't need the flack when i am giving it away for free and all i am asking for is shipping costs... so i am just refunding credits when the auction is over.

actually that guy who is listing the shipping stuff forgot to mention that if the seller is using flat rate boxes and or envelopes then the buyer must pay those charges whatever they may be, that being said i will say a laptop hard drive will fit securely into a 5 dollar flat rate box while being wrapped in bubble wrap. great auction and dont listen to people you have the right to ship at higher costs if the shipping method is higher then standard.

Aw man so sorry to hear you are closing this auction. People aren't too bright sometimes, nor tactful in their comments. AND it is your auction, if you want to charge fifty dollars for shipping they shouldn't say a F**n word, if they don't like it, they don't have to bid on it, if they don't mind paying shipping fees then those people should have a chance to go ahead and bid. Sorry you have come across some very rude listians.
