The listing, Scarlet Milkweed (Butterflybush) and Marigold Seeds has ended.
These seeds were taken from my plants last Fall. I planted some and they came up within a week. I did not count how many are in this little envelope, but it is more than 10 and less than 100.
Both flowers are very hardy and self-seeding and will grow in a variety of planting zones.
The Scarlet Milkweed (also known as Butterflyweed) is a member of the milkweed family and will produce seed pods in the fall. This plant can take the full sun and even the Florida heat, tho it tends to get leggy (tall) if low on water. It attracts butterflies.
The yellow and orange marigold is a traditional favorite and will also re-seed. I used them as a border around my garden to repel pests (esp. rabbits).
