My precious grandmother, a Protestant Preacher's daughter, made a deal with me when I was 7 years old. She told me that if I could memorize the entire 23rd Psalm, she would buy me a chocolate bar every single day for a month. That was in 1978 lol. What 7 year old little candy-loving girl wouldn't master that as quick as she could, haha? And I have never forgotten it, word for word. :)
