black fan with gold trim and red decoration with red sequins that sparkle - (cannot get camera to show the rich ruby red of this fan, it looks like hot pink) - back is plain black no sequins - what fun to flip the fan open and firt over the top - or to decorate with other Oriental pieces like Geisha dolls - measures 9"h when closed and when open 16" across the bottom - added fourth picture, still looks pink, but really is a lovely deep ruby red
