Dipper Gourd Seeds (4 seeds)

A very rare and distinct shape. The dipper Gourd can be used as a ladle. The stem can be straight or curved. Some stems will even grow into knots while still on the vine. Plant can be grown on the ground or trellis. Have fun growing!

Annual, plant depth 1/2", thin to 6', full sun, germination 10 to 20 days, maturity 100 to 120 days.

Garden tip: For best germination, nick the seedcoat. Soak in lukewarm water for 24 hours before planting. Best to plant in soil temperature is 65 degrees or higher.

Drying tip: Pick gourds when entire vine is dry and brown. Handle gently and turn weekly as gourds dry in warm, airy place. Do not cut or decorate until completely dry and seeds rattle.
