This limited edition was the fourth in a series produced by Schmid featuring Sister Berta's art. This porcelain bell stands about 6.5" tall and is in excellent shape with no chips, mends or crazing. Clapper is a porcelain ball. "Mother's Day 1979" is printed on the back side in gold script and inside the rim in small print is "The 1979 Limited Edition of Mother's Day Bells depicting the authentic art of Sister Berta Hummel - Made in West Germany - Schmid Bros 1978."
