It "Raines" stolen bases in Montreal as Tim Raines ignited the Expos offence by singling or coaxing a walk and then swiping second and pilfering third. Then scoring on a ground out, sacrifice fly or a base hit.

Andre Dawson was a bona fide major leaguer who hit more than 425 home runs with the Expos, Cubs, Red Sox and the Marlins.

Of the 11 baseball players enshrined in the Canadian and American Baseball Halls of Fame, five were former Montreal Expos. The five are Gary Carter, Tim Raines, Andre Dawson, Pedro Martinez and Vladimir Guerrero.
