Will this reinstall windows xp, I took my desktop to a shop I've used several times so they could install a fresh windows xp, all they did is wipe the whole system clean and did not put windows back on it

it will work on dell comps. only so yes if you have a dell no if its not a dell

this disk WILL install windows professional on ANY computer, problem is IT WILL ONLY ACTIVATE ON A DELL, which means you will need to use your windows professional 25 digit key in order to continue to use windows after 30 days on any other system besides DELL. You will also need to reinstall drivers for your model of computer from the manu. website. Message me and I can explain rather then blog on this cool dudes auction...sorry, BTW AWESOME AUCTION!

i only install dell on dell hp on hp sonyon sony and so on and so on that wayi have no conflick on what is installed the only one that gives me probs. is gateway then i go on line to actavate. thanks for the other info

I use dell xp pro on my dtop and lptops. Vista and W7 really suck, in my opinion. xp is user friendlyand much easier to troubleshoot. Thnks for offering this to the Listia Community. although reinstall is timeconsuming a bothersome, this is a gem that can't be beat.
