Besides the fact that these two bills are from different series and have different signature blocks, there is another VERY BIG difference. I'll tell you what it is in the FIRST COMMENT... Look at the pictures of both bills and see if you can spot the difference! A hint was given in the title...

Once upon a time in our country you could take this bill to a bank and exchange it for one (probably shiny) Silver Dollar because our country was on the "Silver Standard" meaning that for every one of these printed, there was one dollar in Silver 'in reserve' ...
