Also, it is full of minerals and vitamins. The roots have been used for a hair growth tonic for baldness. The old timers would handle it by hand hoping to get the stings. Said it was good for arthritis. It's good stuff to have around. Good as a pot herb. You have to cook it.

I never knew about hair growth tonic. I knew about the pain, by pressing the nettle on the pain area and it will help eases the pain, which I was not aware of earlier. I only knew about this being edible and it is nutritional. Yes, you can have this in container.

Usually find them round canal banks in UK, rub the leaves where you have been stung by nettle and it cures the sting instantly
