The listing, VINTAGE TAN CHHO GOLD SEQUIN DRESS has ended.

This is a vintage tan chh0 gold sequin hand sewn dress 100% silk
this is a size medium but remember vintage sizes do tend to run smaller so i would suggest it would fit between a size 5 and 7 depending how chesty you are ; )
it has some areas where it does need mending. has sequins along with the beading.
not a whole lot of mending but that is expected with silk items plus being vintage.the sequins are all hand sewn on.(wow) i have not come across any large missing areas of sequins but i do suspect there may be a few missing but nothing that detracts from the dress itself.
this would be a gorgeous cleopatra gown, a dress for new years!.. this is such a gorgeous gown. it is very heavy .
the maker of the dress tan chho was a design from the original brand of ganesh,inc.
they went out of business in 1994 but the dress is vintage 1980's ,i found one almost like this dress online at a goodwill auction but in black and they were asking $249.99 for it as it was appraised at $569.00 so a really great deal.the back is a low cut,it zips and works perfectly,easy glide. the neck has the hooks and all work.the seam around the neck needs the sequin part re attached to the silk part there.the gin is based upon the items rarity and labor it took to complete.hand sewn items are always well made and worth the price it cost in the boutiques.you will feel like a goddess in this!!!
as with all vintage pieces please remember that this does mean it is old,it will have some flaws,there may or may not be loose threads(that need tightened before wearing) if it has buttons they also may need tightened up. it may have small rips in the silk fabric but nothing that effects the wearing of the garment.in no way does this garment look like garbage just because it is vintage. it is still a beautiful piece of clothing and has lots of life left in it yet.

In a that its vintage and an expensive designer wow and the 55k GIN is asking not enough really? or what? say whats on your mind dont disrespect someones auction with a bad wow and then not say whats really on your mind? I say exactly whats on my mind! and not everyone has good taste most people are fine to run around in ripped t shirts and falling off their azzes pants but some people are very classy and know how to dress properly for special events in which this dress was made for. I can guarantee you would never have been to a place and time when the women dressed for their social status.so if you arent here to support this auction or ask a legitimate question then do not come to my auctions and disrespect what I list because remember you list items too and not everyone will like those or feel you are asking a fare amount for those either.get with the program.

I think an unbelievable wow is better than a good wow! Because the dress is just unbelievably gorgeous! Double Wow!! I love it and it would probably fit me but I would have no place to wear it. Someone is really going to win a treasure here. Good luck with this!!!

thanks so much. This is so gorgeous but like you I have no place to wear it other then using it for a halloween costume and I really dont want to do that. I think it would be awesome for a 20's or 30's glam prom or even an old fashioned casino night when you think of it there is a whole bunch of different ideas I can think of. good luck

No not knee length,it is just above the knees,and the hole in the back isnt that low either,it sits i would say just below where the natural bra main back strap would lay. thanks so much!!

No actually she wasnt she was saying wow(as in its so ugly) you need to read everything before you assume you know what your saying,she explained her wow after she wrote that,and it is my auction so i guess i can say what ever i want! if someone wants to post negative things on my auctions then you bet your bottom dollar i will be replying right back to them to tell them what they can do with their negative comment!! do you really think if someone was saying wow(how pretty) i would actually say something bad to them? well apparently you did not read the part where she said in her own words oh i wasnt say wow as in good? she actually said her wow meant bad so yeah i think i owed her a tongue lashing as if she didnt like the looks of it then she can keep her mouth shut period,im sure her taste isnt all that either,not everyone have the same taste in clothing. im sure she is your friend too huh? well i dont care, i know how to read as i did go to school and graduate so im pretty sure that when someone says oh i wasnt saying wow as in a good way,i meant maybe someone would like it but she didnt!!next time read all the way down before you make yourself look stupid again.

Karma treats me just fine as i dont butt into other peoples auctions and try to tell them what they think other people meant in their comments. when someone says wow,lol and then repeats to you not wow in a good way,that absolutely means they think its ugly and not something for them especially when they said im sure someone will like it, it really doesnt take a rocket scientist to understand that and i definitely dont need you to tell me how to respond. you done you and me both a favor by giving me your opinion as to how i should talk to people,as now i have one less person with a bad attitude and rude mouth and know it all attitude that i need to deal with on my auctions now. yes i have been on here for over a year now with a perfect feedback rating because i do not deal with negative nellys on here,i block them before they can cause me any kind of trouble and when they are so kind to comment on my auctions and tell me first hand before they bid that they are the kind that try to tell people what they should do then it gives me a head start on keeping them from my auctions. so thank you

aww. I may be a little off on the sizes because I tried it on and it fit me and I wear a 8-10 and my mother can even get it on but a bit tight on her and she wears an x-lrg so I think I should change the sizing on it because since it is a designer vintage piece I will try and get their original sizing guides? hopefully I can find them on the internet. thanks again this dress is such an item you will definitely get all kinds of compliments and attention while wearing this baby lol
