Description

The listing, Creature Card #1 Gouache Edition. (PLEASE READ) Original Artwork by Rhonda Chase (ATC ACEO) has ended.

This auction is for Creature Card #1 in the Gouache Edition.

PLEASE READ!! <I'm going to try things a little different this month and maybe next. I'm going to draw and ink in the design and try to post the drawing with the auction start at 6:15 or shortly after. That evening when the kids are asleep I'll paint the card before bed and post the finished image the next day. For the first few hours of the auction (if a drawing is posted) I will take suggestions on how to color the creature.>

The Painting will be finished the day of the posting. This card is the standard regulation size of 3.5" x 2.5" or 2.5" x 3.5" respectively. It is done in Gouache (an opaque watercolor like paint) on quality watercolor paper. You receive the original work of art and not a copy. These cards are mailed in an acid free, black backed, protective sleeve inside of a top loader for their protection and for your display should you choose not to frame the work.

My goal with this project is to spread art around the globe and what better place then here, at what better price then free! I will attempt to make and post a new card every day for the whole year!

I encourage the winning bidder to give the creature a name if they like :) (and any other information about the character such as gender, scale and any other defining attributes they choose)

I retain the copy write to the image. At the end of the year all the images and stories will be compiled into a book!

I have a bachelors degree in art, am internationally recognized and have shown in a museum (just to name a few things.) My resume is available upon request.

Thanks for looking! I appreciate your comments and your time. I always fan back :)

I wanted to use this auction to entice people to see what is ahead. I expect many of the auctions main image will just be the outline. But this auction helps show the potential of an outline and I hope will encourage people to participate in this months concept. :)

Publish if possible, sell them definitely, and treasure it for sure. There is a local printing company I'm going to see about going through. One listian gets a free book since she suggested it. All the blogs will go in the book too... I'm also considering making a coloring book and a smaller best of the year sorta book... but we will cross that bridge when we get there. For now I focus on making art. :) Then when the work is done business may transpire. Ah the life of an artist. I'm getting so much better at letting go thanks to all this.

lol. The only way I can do metallic is in color ink or a mixed media setting... I already use ink on these just black. I suppose I could use the other kinds if there was a reason for it... I guess the creature will dictate it. But you have opened my palette up a bit. Thanks :) I know that is really hard to photograph. Looks good in person though.
