Actually this is an Elite, it just has a white faceplate , look at the 2nd picture....

Bro just put ur stuff in a towel or blanket plug it up n it will over heat it self n trick the Xbox 360 n the light will turn green

The $99 xbox/kinect is also just the 4gb xbox and recent experience has shown that some online games like Halo 3 cannot be played with the 4gb. You can also look at forums that says the same thing, and some games won't even play with the upgraded hard drive for the 4gb (which you have to get through Microsoft). The guy hasn't put his name, doesn't have it powered on, says it isn't used but doesn't have any cords for it, and even if it doesn't work and you try to scrap it/sell it....you won't even get $15 for it because of no cords. And there are no "xbox junkyards" so I don't know what you're talking about "scrap" and get money. I was looking for a new Elite, and even if this is an Elite with a white faceplate, I'm not wasting my points after reading the comments. Thank you to those who posted info I would have otherwise overlooked for a minute :) and screw this guy for posting a misleading auction.

you could use the hard-drive in a pc w/ sata not ide, needs some dis-assembly, but it is possible. shawn - the $99 Xbox thing coming out requires a 2yr contract to XBL, so it's not really saving anything in the long run.

but 'never used in the description/title' is wrong.

and i don't see a hard-drive on it, so then it's about as good as the original arcade edition that needed a memory card, which now u can use a USB drive if u need the storage.

and no you can't use the hard drive of the 360 in a PC desktop. not compatible.

also who cares if it has the ring of death you can scrap it and get 15 dollars for it its quite easy and you dont have to fix them shoot i would bid on it just to have it wow you all are crazy. you know the hard drive can be used in a computer wow easy plug an play hmm never thought of that people.
