Classic Silk Yarn is a High End Yarn made in Italy by the Classic Elite Yarn Company.
I have listed my last Three Full Balls of a Color called TOMATO. There are 135 Yards Per Ball.
This yarn is a popular blend of Raw Silk and Cotton with 20% Nylon. (50% Cotton, 30% Silk). This is a Worsted Weight Yarn.
Comfortable, Soft and Lovely to work with.

This yarn is priced at $8.50 per ball
Although the color is called Tomato I would say it is more of a Deep Peach rather than Orange
These are my last three balls in this shade.

As far as the thickness of this yarn , it is a Worsted Weight . It's a hard question to answer other than to tell you the weight of the yarn. I hope that helps and maybe another knitter reading the question can be of more help . The label suggests a size 6 needle . I am a tight knitter so personally I use a size 7 or even an 8 with this yarn. I can tell you it is a lovely yarn that you will be very happy working with
