no shipping of 5.00 cover places like calif. or florida, some places cost a tiny bit more and I have shipped smaller monster high doll boxs and they cost about 2.503.00 and this box is bigger, postage went up not that long ago this year. Postage looks good to me, fanned and watching

if you ship this first class it is cheaper than flat rate. all you have to do is check the price on usps.com and it gives first class rate that says its post office only but you can get the same rate plus .19 cent shipping through paypal if you take payments that way. you might even get away with it being under 5 with tracking that way.

it is too big to ship first class (I am getting my info form usps online) it would go parcel post - at 5.45 tracking would be more.

first class mail is anything under 13 oz and this weighs 8 oz. the box is not to big for it, i have shipped zhu zhu castles for 2.13 and they weigh more and are bigger. if i win i want first class shipping.
