you need to apply for PayPal then after verified, you can now accept payment or buy any stuffs online through it without giving/exposing your debit or credit card #. It's just easy and won't take too long to apply for it (should you like to do so).

About receiving money, you just have to give your PayPal email add or phone # you input in PayPal to the person who will give you money through PayPal and then transaction will go.
