The listing, Teach Yourself to Rug Braid! has ended.

This is such a great craft! And its environmentally friendly too!

You can make some great pieces not just rugs, using fabric remnants and I've even used yarn scraps too! The hardest part is sewing the 'braids' together into your desired shape.

I have collected some tips, patterns and instructions over the years. I will email the winner all the stuff I've collected which is about 20 pages or so.
Upon close of auction, the winner will provide me a valid email address and I will email all I have to the winner promptly!

Thank you... I stopped making them when I believed I could probably quilt. (yup dont read patterns for quilts either hahahah) I made 2 identical quilts out of all the jeans material I had left over ~ they turned out really nice (at least my grandsons loved them lol) but I dont think I will tackle that again. When i was in the 5th grd we made a class rug out of old leggings same idea jus thiner fabric which i guess made it easier for our teacher to sew into a circle..

Neat idea! The only thing to be cautious of is what surface the rug will lay on with soft slippery rag materials. Don't want to be creating magic carpet rides! Lol
