We bought this car seat in the Fall of 2009. My son was born in February 2010 and we used this as his primary car seat for around 8 months. It was never in an accident and after we switched him to a different car seat I wrapped this car seat and base in plastic and stored in my garage. We don't allow smoking in our home or car but we do let people smoke in the garage. While in storage, this car seat was in plastic and it doesn't appear smoke stained nor does it smell like smoke but I thought I should mention that since I know it is important to some people. We also own a dog but she doesn't ride in car seats. :)

Both the car seat and the base are in excellent condition. There are some small stains on the canopy, you can see them in the pictures. The cushion is pretty clean, my wife says she washed it maybe two or three times. My son was never really a "spitter upper". I'm sure he spit up on it a few times but my wife was always diligent about keeping his stuff clean.

The model # of the car seat is PD100628A. The model # of the base is 1750168.
